Lake Powell’s four marinas, compared
Where to launch, fuel up and tie off — the two southern marinas near Page and the two northern marinas in Utah, side by side.
Updated
Lake Powell has four full-service marinas. In the south, near Page, Arizona, are Wahweap (the largest, closest to town) and Antelope Point (Navajo Nation–run, quieter). In the north, in Utah, are Bullfrog (the traditional mid-lake hub — for 2026 its floating marina, rentals and fuel dock have temporarily relocated to deeper water near Halls Crossing, while its lodge and land services stay open) and Halls Crossing (across the water from Bullfrog, the quietest of the four and temporary host of the relocated Bullfrog marina).
Facts checked July 2026.

Which marina should I launch from?
Pick by where you’re coming from and what you want out of the trip:
- Driving from Arizona, Las Vegas or the South Rim? Launch at Wahweap or Antelope Point near Page — the gateway to the southern lake, Antelope Canyon and Rainbow Bridge.
- Want the most services and rentals? Wahweap is the biggest, with the most rentals and lodging on site — motorized launching is at the Stateline Auxiliary ramp while the main ramp is closed.
- Coming from Utah or Salt Lake City? Bullfrog is the closest marina to SLC (about 5 hours) and the base for The Rincon, Forgotten Canyon and the north lake — note that for 2026 its floating marina and fuel operate from the Halls Crossing side, and only the smaller Bullfrog North ramp is launching boats.
- Chasing quiet water and fishing? Halls Crossing and Bullfrog in the north see far fewer boats, with easy access to the San Juan arm.

Frequently asked questions
How many marinas does Lake Powell have?
Lake Powell has four full-service marinas: Wahweap and Antelope Point in the south near Page, Arizona, and Bullfrog and Halls Crossing in the north in Utah. For 2026, Bullfrog’s floating marina — slips, rentals and fuel dock — has temporarily relocated to deeper water near Halls Crossing because of low lake levels, while Bullfrog’s land services stay open.
Which Lake Powell marina is closest to Page, Arizona?
Wahweap Marina is closest to Page — about 7 miles from town and the largest marina on the lake. Antelope Point Marina, run by the Navajo Nation, is a few miles farther east and usually less crowded.
Is there fuel in the middle of Lake Powell?
Not anymore. Dangling Rope Marina, the old mid-lake fuel stop between Wahweap and the north lake, is closed. Fuel is at Wahweap and Antelope Point in the south and, for 2026, at the relocated Bullfrog fuel dock near Halls Crossing in the north — so top off before a long run and plan your range carefully.
Which Lake Powell marina is best for a quiet trip?
Bullfrog and Halls Crossing in the north see a fraction of the traffic the southern marinas get, with the same core services. Halls Crossing is the quietest of the four and a good base for the San Juan arm.
Can you drive between the north and south marinas?
There is no road across the lake. Wahweap and Antelope Point sit near Page, Arizona; Bullfrog and Halls Crossing are a long drive north in Utah. Bullfrog and Halls Crossing are normally linked by the Charles Hall vehicle ferry, but it is suspended for 2026 due to low lake levels — the drive between them is about 149 miles via SR-95.
