- Fuel range. The mid-lake stop at Dangling Rope is closed, so long legs must start and end at a marina fuel dock.
- Stops. Photos, side canyons and beaches always take longer than planned — build in the slack.

How long does it take to cross from Bullfrog to Halls Crossing?
The two north-lake marinas sit about 3 nautical miles apart across the channel — roughly 10 minutes at 20 mph. For 2026, Bullfrog’s floating marina and fuel dock operate from the Halls Crossing side, and the Charles Hall vehicle ferry that normally runs this crossing is suspended due to low lake levels.
